The Prairie Central boys basketball team improved to 10-2 on the season after handing Paxton-Buckley-Loda its first loss of the season Friday night at Fairbury.
PBL was in full control during the first half with a halftime lead of 29-22 before PC came back for a 20-6 run in the third and had a strong performance the rest of the game. Trey Bazzell was the leading scorer with 19, Payton Dunahee had 18 and Cooper Palmore contributed 11.
PC battles Roanoke-Benson Saturday night before participating in the Williamsville tournament after Christmas.
