Elmhurst sectional next for PC

Prairie Central’s boys golf team won the IHSA Regional at Dwight Country Club this week, shooting a 322 in the 15-team tournament.

The Hawks were led by Lakin Bachtold with a 77 and placing second overall in the tournament. Tucker Stoller shot 78, Easton Friedman a 79 and Asher Popejoy finished the scoring with an 88.

All-tournament honors were earned by Lakin, Tucker and Easton for placing in the top five.

PC moves on to the Elmhurst Sectional at Oak Brook Golf Club on Monday.
