Boys golf advances to state

Shooting a score of 320, the Prairie Central Boys Golf team placed second at the IHSA Sectional at Oak Brook Golf Club, advancing to state later in the week.

Easton Friedman led the Hawks shooting a career-best 69 which was also the meet medalist. Lakin Bachtold shot an 81, Tucker Stoller an 83 and Asher Popejoy finished the scoring with an 87.

A practice round is scheduled for Thursday with the first round of the State Finals Friday morning.
