Two in a row for Hawks

Prairie Central’s football team had a decisive 47-13 victory at home Friday night over IVC in our featured broadcast game on Fairbury News.

The Hawks improve to 2-1 on the season with back-to-back impressive wins. Kaden King had 224 yards on 10 carries, three rushing touchdowns and one passing TD. Connor Casner had 13 carries, 199 yards and ran for three scores as well.

It was all PC for the game as the Hawks had a 26-0 lead in the second quarter and they were just too much for IVC, which falls to 2-2.

Next up for PC is county rival Pontiac on Friday night at Pontiac and we plan to bring you the action on Fairbury News. The season finishes against Central Catholic at home in Fairbury in two weeks for senior night.
