The Lady Hawk basketball team defeated Coal City 59-27 Monday night as sisters Chloe and Mariya Sisco combined for 47 points.
Mariya was the rebounding leader with 9 and Chloe, Mariya and Lucy Whitfill each had 2 steals. Chloe had 24 points, Marissa Collins had 6, Lucy Whitfill had 2, Mariya scored 23 with Sawyer Ashman contributing 4 points. The PC varsity girls move to 5-4 on the season after Monday’s win.
It is a busy week as the girls travel to Beecher Tuesday evening and St. Thomas More on Thursday before the Ottawa Township High School Holiday Tournament gets underway later in the week and runs through Dec. 22.
