A milestone was reached during Friday night’s game between the Pontiac and Prairie Central girls basketball teams.
PC’s Chloe Sisco scored her 1,000th point during the game and had 17 points for the night, but the Hawks fell to the rival Indians 64-59 in the annual Turkey Tournament in a game broadcast on Fairbury News. Mariya Sisco had 20 points and was the leading scorer of the night for PC. Pontiac’s leading scorer was Masching with 35.
In the other game, Peoria Notre Dame defeated East Peoria 65-14. Leading scorer for PND was Wardle with 17 and Moeller led East Peoria with 10.
