Another win came for Prairie Central boys basketball Saturday afternoon in the IPC vs. Sangamo Conference Shootout at Monticello as the Hawks defeated Williamsville 71-52.
It was a nice team win, according to PC head coach Trevin McCulloh with Levi Goad and Tyler Curl setting the pace with 20 points each. Avery Elder had a career-high 14 while Talen Steidinger had 10 points. The balanced scoring effort all started on the defensive end.
The Hawks now prepare for road games at Central Catholic Tuesday and Eureka on Friday before returning home Saturday afternoon to play Beecher High School.
