The Prairie Central baseball and softball teams celebrated senior night with wins.
Baseball won over St. Thomas More 7-2. Caden Addis pitched another gem, according to Coach Gaige Rinkenberger.
“Offense threatened continuously up and down the order and took advantage of mistakes including a big four-run fourth inning,” Rinkenberger said.
PC softball won over Fieldcrest 16-1 in four innings. The Hawks were led by Rylee Galloway who went 4-4 at the plate with one of them being a double. She also had 5 RBIs. Kyah Creek, Jules Woodrey and Lucy Whitfill all had two hits a piece while Sam Slagel, Kyrsten Atkins and Kyla Stephens each got a hit. Woodrey had 2 RBIs while Slagel, Atkins and Stephens each got 1 RBI.
Woodrey takes the win in the circle with 4 strikeouts, 2 walks and gave up 3 hits all in 4 innings of work.
“Very happy to get this win for the seniors,” said Coach Molly Cagley. “It’s been a blessing to coach Lucy and Kyrsten over the last four years and we wish them all the best in their next chapter.”
