All of the seniors got in the scoring column as the Lady Hawk basketball team defeated El Paso-Gridley on senior night at Prairie Central High School 60-35.
PC’s Chloe Sisco was leading scorer with 22 points and four steals. Mariya Sisco had 12 points and led the rebounds with 8. Collins contributed 7 points, Moser and Gradberg each had 4 points, Whitfill had 3, and Karnes, Wilkey, Ashman and Huber each had 2.
All of the seniors were introduced prior to the game which was broadcast live on Fairbury News with Jeff Curl and Mike Wolf calling the action. Prior to the game, the seniors appeared on our live Fairbury Newsmakers program from the gym along with PC wrestlers and FFA members.
The PC girls finish the regular season with a 19-7 record heading in to the regional which PCHS will host next week. They play in the 7:30 p.m. semifinal game Tuesday and we will have it on Fairbury News.
