Perfect season continues

PC's Dylan Bazzell puts up a shot against St. Anne on Saturday evening.

Despite some foul trouble, Prairie Central posted another impressive victory Saturday evening over St. Anne in varsity high school boys basketball action heard live on Fairbury News.

Head coach Darin Bazzell felt his team finally got going in the third quarter to move the Hawks to 8-0 on the season. The final score was 60-37. Drew Haberkorn led the Hawks with 15 points, Tyler Curl had 12 and four players with 7 points each included Andy Krenz, Levi Goad, Dylan Bazzell and Camden Palmore.

Jeff Curl had the live play-by-play on Fairbury News from St. Anne. The varsity boys now look forward to next Friday’s Livingston County rivalry game at Fairbury as they battle the Pontiac Indians. The following day is the shootout at Eureka College before the Christmas break.

The JV Hawk boys also won on Saturday 57-17 over St. Anne.
