Both the Prairie Central boys and girls basketball teams had a winning weekend.
The varsity boys won over Rantoul Friday night 72-44 in a game carried live on Fairbury News with Eric Stock and Joel Swanson on the call. PC is now 15-3. Andy Krenz and Dylan Bazzell each had 13 points, Camden Palmore and Levi Goad each had 11 while Tyler Curl had 9 and Drew Haberkorn with 8 points.
Chloe Sisco led all scorers for the Lady Hawks Saturday in their win over Grace Christian Academy with 26 points. Gracie Edelman led the rebounding with 5 while Mariya Sisco had 4 steals. The final score was 51-24 and the Lady Hawks are now 14-6.
