The Lady Hawks fell to U-High Thursday night 48-27 in high school basketball action.
Jayla Hammond was Prairie Central’s leading scorer with 8 points, followed by Carmen Gradberg with 5, Kelly Wilkey had 4, Abi Nimbler and Kyrsten Atkins each had 3, while Sawyer Ashman and Alayna Anderson each contributed 2 points.
Lucy Whitfill and Wilkey were leading rebounders with 4 and Nimbler led the steals with 4.
PC travels to Coal City High School Monday night before returning home next Thursday, Dec. 14 to play St. Thomas More in Fairbury prior to the Ottawa Holiday Tournament.
