PC falls to BCC

Despite a great effort, the Prairie Central boys basketball team fell to Bloomington Central Catholic 81-63 on Friday night.

It was a tough road loss for the Hawks who head coach Darin Bazzell said “ran out of gas” and let the game get away from them in the fourth quarter. Trey Bazzell led the scoring with 37 points while Rylie Vaughan added 10. Cooper Palmore and Andy Krenz both had 8 rebounds. Bazzell added 7 boards and 4 steals.

The PC boys will have a busy week coming up with games on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Boys JV update from Thursday:

Prairie Central’s JV team earned a victory on the road at Heyworth 57-25 this week. The team had a strong defensive effort in the second half, outscoring the Hornets 31-9 in the final two quarters.

“PC led a balanced attack on offense with all players entering the scoring column,” said Coach Mike Wolf.

PC was led in scoring by Kadyn Diemer with 11, Drew Fehr with 10 and Camden Palmore contributed 9.
