Thanks to timely shooting and a great team defensive effort, Prairie Central won the Livingston County rivalry game Friday night against Pontiac 54-37.
Tyler Curl led the Hawk scoring with 18, followed by Drew Haberkorn with 13, Levi Goad with 8 and Drew Fehr and Dylan Bazzell each with 6. For Pontiac, Brummel and Weber each had 10 while Bauman and Barnett each contributed 6 points.

Now, it is on to the Eureka College Shootout for Prairie Central as they battle Eureka at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. We will have the game live on Fairbury News again Saturday.
