PC cruises to season finale win

The Hawk boys basketball team capped the regular season with another win, this time over Tri-Valley on the road in Downs.


Tyler Curl led the scoring with 20 points in the 71-52 victory carried live on Fairbury News Tuesday evening.


Dylan Bazzell had 11 points while Drew Fehr and Camden Palmore each had 10, Drew Haberkorn 9, Levi Goad 7 and Gage Steidinger with 4. Overall, it was an even scoring attempt for the Hawks on the night.


For Tri-Valley, Stombaugh led the way with 24 points for the Vikings. Kinsella contributed 9 points.


PC ends the regular season at 28-2 and looks ahead to the postseason with regionals starting next week at Fairbury. The number one seed Hawks are set for a 6 p.m. game Wednesday (Feb. 22) against the winner of Saturday’s game between GCMS and Clifton Central.
