Prairie Central cruised to an opening round victory Tuesday night in the GCMS Thanksgiving Tournament as the Hawk varsity boys defeated Fisher 86-15.
“Suffocating defense and even scoring was the story,” said head coach Darin Bazzell afterward.
PC had 25 steals. Leading the Hawk scoring were Drew Haberkorn and Dylan Bazzell with 16, Levi Goad with 14, Tyler Curl and Colton Stork with 9 and Avery Elder and Austin Hansen with 7.
Tuesday’s game was broadcast on Fairbury News with Mike Norris and Brian King calling the action.
Up next is Wednesday’s 6:30 p.m. matchup against the Lexington Minutemen.
