IVC defeated Prairie Central 68-56 in a varsity boys basketball matchup at Fairbury Tuesday evening during our featured broadcast game on Fairbury News.
The Hawks were led by Trey Bazzell with 24 points, Rylie Vaughan had 8, Dylan Bazzell chipped in 2, Cooper Palmore had 2, Austin Swiech had 2, Andy Krenz contributed 10 while Tyler Trachsel scored 8 points.
PC was able to pull within two to come back at the half but it wasn’t enough after a tough night of questionable calls and some mistakes along the way.
The second of three home games this week is Thursday as the boys play Tolono Unity in a rescheduled game from last week’s winter weather. This will be senior night for the basketball players and cheerleaders. We will have the action on Fairbury News with Ryan Ifft on the call.
Friday’s action includes PC taking on St. Joe Ogden in a home contest at 7 p.m. Fairbury News will broadcast that game as well with Dayton Kilgus back in the broadcast booth.
