The Prairie Central varsity girls basketball team wins the Reed-Custer 2A Regional as they defeated Peotone 49-43 Friday night in a game carried live on Fairbury News with Jeff Curl calling the action.
Gyllian Davies was the leading scorer with 16 while Clare Strong led the rebounds with 9 and Chloe and Mariya Sisco each had 4 steals in the game.
The Siscos also advance in the three-point showdown contest as Chloe had 11 and Mariya had 9.
Prairie Central now meets St. Joseph-Ogden in the Peotone Sectional Tuesday at 6 p.m.
