Despite good defense and tough playing, the Prairie Central boys basketball team lost to Morton over the weekend 44-37.
Leading scorer for PC Friday night was Connor Haab with 9 points, Jake Bachtold chipped in 8 and Cooper Palmore had 7. Palmore also had 8 rebounds.
The Hawks are looking ahead to more action next week and the Watseka Holiday Tournament is coming right up.
