Hawks are regional champs

The season keeps getting better for the PC girls basketball team as they won the Class 2A Hoopeston Area Regional title Friday night after defeating Watseka 66-34.

Elly Haberkorn led the scoring with 12, Emma Kinkade and Chloe Sisco each had 11, Madison Kinkade had 9, Mariya Sisco contributed 7, Becca Conlisk had 6 while Natalie Graf had 4. Danielle Vogel, Emily Wilkey and Summer Buff each had 2.

PC now faces Seneca Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Wilmington Sectional semifinals.
