In day two of the Ottawa Christmas tournament, the Prairie Central Lady Hawks basketball team defeated Newark 42-30.
Mariya Sisco was leading scorer with 14 points along with four steals. There was a three-way tie for most rebounds in the game, with Sisco, Lucy Whitfill and Carmen Gradberg each getting 8.
