The Prairie Central boys basketball team won in overtime over IVC Tuesday 69-68.
Leading scorer was Jake Bachtold with 16, Trey Bazzell added 15, Rylie Vaughan had 15, Cooper Palmore scored 9 and Kaden King had 9.
Coach Bazzell feels it was a great team effort and is happy with the even scoring. He refers to it as a game which showed a lot of character and heart.
Two more match-ups are scheduled for the Hawks this week as they travel to Rantoul Thursday for a 6 p.m. contest and return home Friday for senior night in Fairbury.
