If you are interested in starting a new hobby or becoming more involved, “Find Your Fit” Membership & Volunteer Fair at Dominy Memorial Library on Saturday, April 27th is your opportunity to explore organizations to find one that you connect with.
Joining groups in Fairbury and the surrounding area can be a fantastic way to meet new people and explore your interests. For those with a passion for giving back to the community, April is National Volunteer Month! At “Find Your Fit” you’ll discover volunteer opportunities and learn how you can make an impact in causes you care about.
“Find Your Fit” Membership & Volunteer Fair is a free event at Dominy Memorial Library on Saturday, April 27th in the White Community Room from 10am to 12pm.
Light refreshments will be available and more than 10 local organizations will be represented, including: SELCAS, Echoes Museum, Vermillion Valley Chorus, Livingston County Historical Society, The Community Connection, Friends of Dominy Library, Fairbury Garden Club, The Art Center by Greater Livingston County Arts Council, Fairview Haven Loom Room, Fairbury Lion’s Club, Fairbury Fair, Fairbury VFW Auxiliary, Livingston County Humane Society and more.
