Independent Order of Oddfellows Livingston Lodge 290 raised $2,375.00 for the Fairbury Woman's Club Literacy Program and presented it to the Fairbury Woman's Club this week.

The Literacy Program distributes books to three different schools for children up to fourth grade in the Prairie Central School District. The Fairbury Woman's Club also has two lending libraries located in Fairbury at Marsh & North parks where donations of new or used books are always appreciated.

Livingston Lodge 290 meets every Tuesday evening at 7:30 with dinner served an hour before, at its historic Lodge building at 122 1/2 W. Locust Street. I.O.O.F. Livingston Lodge is a non-political, non-sectarian charitable organization that accepts members of all races and genders. The public is always welcome to visit.
