In the battle of Livingston County, Prairie Central gets bragging rights as the Hawks defeated Pontiac 70-62 in a game played at Fairbury Friday evening.
Drew Haberkorn was the leading scorer for the Hawks with 22, Tyler Curl had 14, Dylan Bazzell contributed 11 while Andy Krenz had 8. For Pontiac, Logan Barnett and Riley Weber each had 19, Kerr Bauman had 11 and Henry Brummel scored 6 points.
Prairie Central now takes a perfect 9-0 record into Saturday’s Eureka College shootout against Dee-Mac at 7 p.m. We will have the broadcast on Fairbury News although the start time may vary depending on if the games are ahead of or behind schedule.
