Obituary: Hammond

Michael Paul Hammond, 58, of Henry, formerly of Fairbury, passed away at 7:36 am, March 4, 2026, at OSF St. Clare Medical Center, Princeton.

There will be a graveside service held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury with Pastor Charles Mendoza officiating. Visitation will be noon to 12:45 pm Wednesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church of Fairbury.

Michael was born, January 11, 1968, Peoria, Illinois; the son of James and Joan (Rector) Hammond. His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include one sister, Susan (Rod) Lauderdale of Lake Charles, LA, and one niece, Dallas Lauderdale also of Lake Charles, LA.
