With all 46 precincts reporting, Ryan Bohm received 58.54 percent of the vote in the Republican race for Livingston County sheriff, compared to Tom Vagasky’s 41.46 percent.
Based on unofficial results from the Livingston County Clerk’s office as of 9:59 p.m. Tuesday, Bohm had 3,902 votes while Vagasky had 2,764.
In the District Three Republican race for the Livingston County Board, the six winners with all 18 precincts reporting were: Rebekah Fehr (1,647), Linda Ambrose (1,528), Mark Runyon (1,395), John Vitzthum (1,351), Seth Welch (1,188) and Paul Ritter (1,117). They defeated Craig Monson, Steven Tjarks and Jared Drayer.
For the Livingston County sheriff race, there was a 31.3 percent voter turnout while the District Three county board race had a turnout of 35.8 percent.
A proposition to establish the Chatsworth Area Library passed 165-95.
Statewide, Darren Bailey won the GOP nomination for Illinois governor, defeating several other candidates and taking almost 58 percent of the vote. Current Governor J.B. Pritzker won on the Democratic side over challenger Beverly Miles. Dan Brady won the GOP nomination for Illinois Secretary of State.
