Join the Fairbury Lions for the Tootsie Pop Days set for Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7.
During these days, thousands of Lions and Lionesses around the state will be giving away Tootsie Pops and accepting donations to support those with vision and hearing problems to help them lead fuller lives. Funds raised help the community through local humanitarian service projects. Locally, representatives will be at Dave's Supermarket in Fairbury.
Sight saving and sight conservation projects include Camp Lions for Blind and Deaf Children, Eye Donor Registry, glaucoma and a hearing aid bank.
