Jaxon Zimmerman and Calley Friedman are Students of the Month at Prairie Central High School in Fairbury.
The Family and Consumer Science Department has nominated Zimmerman saying he brings a positive work ethic and attitude to the classroom. He is a hard working student and has shown solid academic ability in the FCS class he has taken this year. He shows kindness to his classmates by always having a smile on his face and his willingness to help.
“Jaxon takes great pride in his work and is asset to Prairie Central High School,” the nomination states.
The Family and Consumer Science Department nominated Friedman as Student of the Month pointing to her “warm, inviting personality that lights up the classroom.” She is always willing to help with any task and shows integrity and pride in her academic work as well as extra-curricular activities.
