Steffen sworn-in at meeting

During a special meeting of the Prairie Central Board of Education last week, Corey Steffen was sworn in as the newest board member.

Steffen was appointed at the previous meeting to replace Tim McGreal who resigned from the board.

The following officers were elected to complete the term left vacant by McGreal:

Dana Kafer, vice president

Ben Stoller, secretary

Board members then entered an executive session to discuss the superintendent search.

A regular monthly meeting of the Prairie Central Board of Education is scheduled for this Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
