Spring concert held

The PCHS band under the direction of Brendan Vincent.

The Prairie Central Junior High and High School presented a spring band concert on Sunday.

Selections from the high school jazz band included "A Night in Tunisia," "Blue Monk," and "My Favorite Things." High school concert band numbers featured "Celebration," "The Final Pursuit" and "Overture for Winds."

The junior high concert band also performed such songs as "Korean Folk Rhapsody," "Psalm 42" and "Danse Ritmico."

Brendan Vincent is the high school band director while Megan Lackaff directs the junior high band.

The PCHS jazz band performs on Sunday.
