Special meetings of the Prairie Central Board of Education are slated for this week pertaining to the future of facilities in the district.
The first is Tuesday (June 25) where the board will hear and discuss the Facilities Study Report prepared by BLDD Architects and the school’s PACT Committee.
A second meeting is Thursday (June 27) for discussion on the Facilities Study Report.
Both meetings are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the Prairie Central High School library, 411 North Seventh Street in Fairbury. Those attending should enter through door M on the east side of the building and turn right to enter the library.
Public comment sessions are listed on the agenda at the start of each meeting.
Several other special board meetings discussing facilities are planned for July 1, 9, 11, 15 and 16. A final decision should come in August.
