Children in Fairbury got into the holiday spirit Saturday night by visiting Santa at the Hoffman House.
The “Cookies and Crafts with Santa” was sponsored by Joe Jones, a COUNTRY Financial representative in Forrest.
“We sent out flyers to all of the elementary schools for all the kids to come out and create an ornament, take their pictures with Santa, then get a goodie bag and some cookies we got from Dave’s here in Fairbury,” said Jones.
Since Jones received positive feedback from this event, he plans to do it again next year.
