Donna Roman, 82, of Fairbury, passed away at 8:37pm, December 6, 2023, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Cremation has been accorded. A celebration of life will be held in Fairbury with burial in Missouri at a later date.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Prairie Central Music Department.
Donna was born April 27, 1941, in LA County, the daughter of Donald and Maxine (Goddard) Small. She married Richard Roman. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Erin (Ray) Umble of Paxton; son, David Cochran of Durango, CO; step-daughters, Becky Roman of PA and Laura Roman-Siliceo of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Calleigh Cochran, Aiden Siliceo-Roman, Abe Geidel, and Kenny Cochran.
She was preceded in by her parents; brother, Gerald Small and sister, Sandra Small.
Donna and her husband owned and operated Dairy Queen in Paxton. Donna also worked in banking and Country at Heart Gift Shop in Sibley.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Fairbury, where she was a member of the choir and participated in bible study groups.
She enjoyed any board or card game. Especially Bridge with her friends.
