Jerry Lee Kaisner, 64, of Fairbury, was ushered peacefully into the arms of Jesus surrounded by his family at 9:33 pm Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his residence, Fairbury.
His funeral will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury. Ministers of the church will be officiating.
Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00pm, Monday, January 28, 2019 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9-9:45am on Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to Fairview Haven Retirement Community or to South Eastern Livingston County Ambulance Service, both in Fairbury.
Jerry was born August 4, 1954, in Fairbury the son of Merle W. and Gladys “Marge” Zimmerman Kaisner.
He married Donna J. Schwind on June 10, 1978, in Roanoke. She survives in Fairbury.
Also surviving are his children, Kati (Kevin) Meiss, Fairbury, Matthew (Jodi) Kaisner, Forrest, Neil (Kay) Kaisner, and CJ (Allison) Kaisner both of Fairbury; 18 grandchildren; siblings, Wanda (Alfred) Kupferschmid of Forrest, Robert (Cheryl) Kaisner, Don (Leona) Kaisner, Gwen Knapp, and LeAnn Kaeb all of Fairbury.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Jerry was a mechanic and service manager at Kelly-Sauder-Rupiper, John Deere in Pontiac for 34 years. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury.
