Patricia Ann Foltz, 67 of Fairbury, died at 5:45pm, Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a graveside service will be held at a later date at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Fairbury. Memorials may be directed to the School of Music at Illinois State University, where a music scholarship will be established in Patty’s name or to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Fairbury, IL. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is assisting with arrangements.
Patty was born February 15, 1953, a daughter of Herbert Max and Minnie G. Lukaseck Foltz. They preceded her in death.
Survivors include her only brother, Richard (Linda) Foltz of North Miami Beach, FL; two nieces, Kamara and Alayna of Miami, FL; one nephew, Brandon (Ryan) of Atlanta, GA and one grand-nephew, Kamryn along with several cousins throughout Illinois and Indiana.
Patty graduated from Fairbury-Cropsey High School Class of 1971 as the Salutatorian of her class. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from Millikin University in Decatur, IL and a Master’s Degree in Accompanying and Piano Pedagogy from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL. She was a member and organist at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairbury. She worked as the administrative clerk in the psychology department at Illinois State University, Normal.
