For the Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County in Pontiac & Fairbury, Christmas came early thanks to IlliniCare Health.
During these most difficult times planning program activities for 10-hour days, 5 days a week, comes the need for extra supplies, meals and snacks. IlliniCare Health donated the much-needed supplies & snacks for youth in Livingston County.
“We appreciate the generous donation of items, in these difficult times, seeing this truck brought a lot of happiness and we are so thankful for others who have provided the necessary items to keep the kids safe, well fed with fun activities” said Jodi Martin.
IlliniCare Health has also partnered with the Illinois Alliance of the Boys & Girls Club as the presenting sponsor for its Illinois Youth of the Year event. The ceremony celebrates and recognizes the personal development, growth and success of all participants. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge the overall success of the independent Boys & Girls Clubs, their members and staff. Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County’s Youth of the Year, Xavier Watson will compete with the other State Boys & Girls Clubs on April 20th & 21st virtually.

The Boys & Girls Club national Youth of the Year program recognizes club members who have met personal challenges head on and have given back to their club and community. On April 22, one youth will be chosen to represent Illinois at the national Youth of the Year program.
