Garage sales, book sale set

Plenty of sales are planned in Fairbury for the upcoming Prairie Dirt Classic race weekend later in the month.

The summer all-town garage sales, sponsored by the GFWC IL Fairbury Woman’s Club are set for Thursday, July 25 from 9-6, Friday, July 26 from 9-6 and Saturday, July 27 from 9-3. To sign-up, call or text Sherry at 815-848-2687.

Meanwhile, the Friends of the Dominy Library Summer Book Sale takes place Thursday, July 25 from 9-6, Friday, July 26 from 9-5 and Saturday, July 27 from 9-12. The sale will be held in the downstairs area of Dominy Memorial Library, 201 S. Third Street in Fairbury.
