Prairie Central football fans enjoyed “Great Day to be a Hawk” day recently at Dominy Memorial Library.
The do-it-yourself workshop included PC cheerleaders and Huey the Hawk. They were on hand to make noisemakers and more for this Friday’s homecoming parade and game.
Around 100 Big Blue buttons were created by Dominy director Ashley Lewis while staff members Karen Oest and Lillian Rathbun helped assemble pom-poms and noisemakers.
“It was so much fun seeing everyone’s excitement and getting to be a part of the homecoming festivities,” said Oest.
“The PC Cheer Team and Huey were incredible,” noted Rathbun. “They really pitched in and we couldn’t have done it without their help.”
Almost 60 PC football fans made crafts and enjoyed cookies from Dave’s Supermarket.
