Details announced for service

(Flags are shown this week at Fairbury's Graceland Cemetery)

The annual Fairbury Memorial Day Service at Graceland Cemetery is planned for 11 a.m. Monday, or when the band is able to arrive and set up.

In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the VFW in downtown Fairbury. Paul Augsburger will be the main speaker and the mixed Color Guard of the VFW and American Legion will be featured. Each Auxiliary will also have a member presenting a wreath.

A late lunch, sponsored by the VFW Auxiliary, will be held following the ceremony.
