A two-vehicle crash late Tuesday night west of Fairbury resulted in injuries.
State Police responded to eastbound U.S. Route 24 near Livingston County Road 1900 East shortly after 10 p.m. A white 2016 Toyota Avalon sedan rear-ended a black 2022 Mack truck-tractor with a semi-trailer. The driver of the sedan sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
Low visibility was reported at the time of the crash due to blowing dust in the area, according to authorities.
The eastbound lane of the highway was temporarily shut down until the crash could be relocated. State Police have not released any additional information.
