The Livingston County Health Department reports its building in Pontiac will be closed Friday (Dec. 18) for required water system maintenance.
LCHD visitors can enter the facility’s parking lot from Manlove Street and drive to the north side of the building for services. The Showbus pickup and drop-off location has been relocated to the south side of the building.

Work continues on a new Livingston County Health Department building. The work began back in September and quick progress has been made on the project, according to county officials. New construction is located directly in front of the current building, which is currently blocking entrances to the LCHD from Torrance Avenue.
The current Health and Education building was constructed in 1922.
