Fall garage sales are planned in both Forrest and Fairbury in the coming weeks.
The 2024 Forrest town-wide garage sales are planned for Friday, Sept. 20 from 8 to 5 and Saturday, Sept. 21 from 8 to 12.
Meanwhile, Fairbury’s all-town sales, sponsored by GFWC Illinois Fairbury Woman’s Club, are slated for Thursday, Sept. 26 from 9 to 6, Friday, Sept. 27 9 to 6 and Saturday, Sept. 28 9 to 3. Be sure to include the name on the sale, address, days the sale is running, a phone number to reach in case of questions and list 10 items for $10. Additional items can be listed for $1 per item over 10. Checks should be made payable to Fairbury Woman’s Club.
Everything is due Saturday, Sept. 21 to get on the map.
