Apr. 6 election reminders




The Consolidated Election will be held on Tuesday, April 6 with voting taking place in all 46 precincts throughout Livingston County. The polls open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.


Early Voting continues through Monday, April 5 at the County Clerk’s Office, located in the Historic Courthouse (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.). The Clerk’s Office will also be open on Saturday, April 3 from 9:00 a.m. – Noon for early voting and grace registration.


Additional election information, including the specimen ballot may be obtained from the Livingston County website at: www.livingstoncountyil.gov (Click on “County Services”, “County Clerk”, and “Elections”). If you have any questions regarding voter registration, or the above information, contact the County Clerk’s Office at 815-844-2006. To check your registration status, visit https://ova.elections.il.gov.


FYI - Precinct #8 Voters (First Baptist Church) – Please note that a COVID19 Vaccination Clinic will also be held at the church on Election Day. Voting will still take place in the first room located on the north end of the church building, with voters entering and exiting the building on the north end as customary. Please take note of signage for parking requirements with VOTERS being asked to enter and exit the parking lot on the north end.


POLLING PLACE CHANGES


Long Point - The new permanent polling place for Long Point Township is the American Legion Hall at 224 4th Street, Long Point.


Pontiac Precinct #1 - The new permanent polling place for Pontiac Precinct #1 is in the Pontiac United Methodist Church (Asbury Room located in the basement) at 219 N Chicago Street, Pontiac.


Pontiac Precinct #4 - The polling place for Pontiac Precinct #4 has been moved FROM the Livingston County Public Health Building TO the Grace Episcopal Church at 900 S Manlove, Pontiac.


Pontiac Precinct #5 & #6 - The permanent polling place for Pontiac Precincts #5 & #6 is the Pontiac Community Recreation Center at 900 N Elm Street, Pontiac.


Round Grove - The permanent polling place for Round Grove Township is the Sacred Heart Parish Hall at 205 Elm Street, Campus.
