A local agriculture and appetizer feast is planned for Monday (July 29) from 5-8 p.m. at the Central Illinois Connection Center, 404 East Locust in Chatsworth.
Area farmers and restaurants will offer samples of appetizers made from fresh ingredients, such as: sausage and egg quiche cups, meat samples, cheese and crackers, cupcakes, garlic bread, potato salad and ice cream.
Those attending will also be able to learn about farm and home safety from State Farm, Eastern Illini, SELCAS, 811 Julie and Farm Bureau. The event is open to the public with no reservations required.
Food is offered while supplies last and any size donation will benefit youth and community programs.
