Another win for the Hawks


PC football defeated Olympia 48-7 Friday night at Stanford.


Dailen Loveless had a five-yard run in the first to put the Hawks ahead 7-0 right away and they never looked back. Scoring plays in the second came from Connor Casner, Corbin Moser, Kaden King and Devin Marten. King had a 24-yard pass to Loveless in the third before Olympia scored at the 4:09 mark. The fourth quarter saw Caeden Young with a one-yard run to seal the deal at 48-7.


King was PC’s passing leader and for rushing, the top players were King, Young, Jacob Niffen, Loveless, Moser, Casner, Austin Swiech and Logan Steidinger. Top receivers were Loveless, Cooper Palmore, Tyler Trachsel, Swiech, Moser, Will Tatro and Steidinger. Clare Strong had eight kickoffs for 303 yards and an average of 37.9. Swiech had two kickoff returns for 26 yards and an average of 13.


Swiech had a punt return for nine yards. Swiech, Moser and Niffen each had interceptions while Marten had a fumble recovery for the Hawks. PC had a time of possession at 23:59 to Olympia’s 24:01. PC led the rushing 214-134 and passing 167-15. PC had 381 total yards compared to Olympia’s 149.
