4-H helps at Harvest Call

Members of the Fairbury Prairie Farmers 4-H helped at Harvest Call last week.

On January 23, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., the Fairbury Prairie Farmers met for their fourth meeting of the year to pack care packages at Harvest Call.

They discussed a donation to the FFA national winning dairy judging team and decided what to do for the Farm and Home Show booth. The rest of time was spent packaging up care packages for disaster relief.

The club was able to put together an entire pallet of supplies which included items such as deodorant, toothbrushes, razors, and other hygiene items.

The next meeting will be on February 20, at 5:00 PM, at the United Methodist Church. The club will have pizza, watch a movie, and have popcorn.
