A Boys and Girls Club fundraiser is going virtual this year.
The virtual Taste of Livingston County is this Saturday, Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m. featuring entertainment, door prizes, contests, a “brown bag” of goodies and silent auction.
“We’ve got auction items on the website to bid on,” explained Sue Popejoy.
It is easy to purchase tickets online – just look for the link at: http://bit.ly/2020TasteLC or www.bgcolc.org. The event will be held online via Facebook live. Some of the auction items include: a 115-pound hog, stays at Hoffman House and Wells on Main, all access race passes, spa basket and Fairbury Speedway framed picture.
Those registered can pick up goodie bags ahead of time, according to the Boys and Girls Club’s Jordan Hornickel.
One of the auction highlights is an African safari trip, giving you the chance to walk with lions, cheetahs and other animals plus food is included.
