Special meeting for PC board

During a special meeting of the Prairie Central Board of Education earlier this week, members were seated, officers elected and the group accepted a resignation.

Superintendent Paula Crane reports those seated for four-year terms included Tim McGreal, Ted Bachtold, John Wilken and Brian Plenert. Mark Slagel was seated for a two-year term.

Slagel was once again elected president, McGreal vice president and John Wilken secretary.

In other business, the board accepted the resignation of high school principal Brad Allen.
