Sara Evans coming to Fairbury

A female country artist with five number one singles will perform at this summer’s Fairbury Fair.


Multi-platinum entertainer Sara Evans will headline the Aug. 16 show. She is the fifth most-played female artist on country radio in nearly the last two decades. Her singles include “No Place That Far,” “Suds in the Bucket,” “A Real Fine Place to Start,” “Born to Fly,” and “A Little Bit Stronger.”


Nashville singer, songwriter and musician KayLyn Pace will open for Evans. Pace is known as a highly energetic entertainer with a love for people and vocal strength which captivates listeners.


Concert tickets start at $20 and will be available online at www.thefairburyfair.com starting at 8 a.m. Friday, March 22. All advance sale tickets will include gate admission ($10). Ticket prices will increase by $5 on the concert day.


Information on other Fairbury Fair events is expected to be announced during the next several weeks.
